My son grazed his fingers on friday (bad graze from fall on tarmac). It is a bit weepy/sticky still.
He has swimming lessons today in local Pool.
Is it safe to get this wet in the pool? Or does it matter?
Can he swim if the cut is covered?

Most of the info I can find says its safe as long as cut is covered. Anyone have any info on this?
    Thanks

Best thing he can do is swim in a pool ( second best actually, sea would be better ). Chlorine will cleanout any bugs and water washout any bits of gravel. Don't put on a plaster because it will come off and clog pool filters.

Call up the pool and ask next time. As far as I know my local pool doesn't allow people with open cuts/bleeding/puss seeping to go swimming.

Yeah did that and got a vague rehearsed response leaving it up to myself really.

Figured I might get better info from a forum dedicated to swimming.
Advice is often better from people who have actual experience of the issues but not to worry....
