    Hi All,

Looking to get the above unlocked. Can you recommend anywhere good in Dublin to get this done?

I phoned one place (€40.00) and they said I would need to leave the phone with them for 24 hours. I'm a bit weary of doing this.

    Cheers :)

AFAIK 3.13 is not Unlockable at the moment, only Jailbreak.

Hey my mam recently bought the iphone 3Gs on prepare and it now being hit by data charges everyday...everyone in 02 failed to mention that. However the firmware is 3.1.3

I understand this version may not be unlockable at the moment, but I'm just wondering is it worth unlocking? For something so expensive - if something goes wrong then would 02 turn their back on you?

    Just looking for advice!!

    cheers

    For data charges.
Go to setting-> General-> network->Cellulat data network-> in the apn just type any random word eg "Net".
that will stop any unwanted charges( if you don't want to use net).

If the phone is bought from o2 they will do the unlock for you legally, check the sticky.

Yes you can still connect from wifi and won't effect any apps etc.
