    Haha
It's Drive in Bingo! You drive into a field and they call out the numbers from a small stage. When you win you beep your car horn :) Last heard about it happening 2 years ago. Anyone know if it is still operating?

    HI

Yes its on this Monday, it's expensive and the crowds that were there last month, you haven't a chance of winning.

The only place AFAIK that you can smoke and play bingo - would this be the principal reason for it's continued popularity and success?

    HI,

Well there are several other outdoor bingos eg. Balbriggan was on two weeks ago and will be on again shortly. While they are also well supported and many of the players attend both venues, Gibbstown seems to attract the addicted Bingo Players most of whom play two or three books each and then they go onto the Bingo hall the same evening there into Bingo in a big way.

You feel that with your one book (which isn't cheap) you don't have much chance.

Anyone know what time it starts or where to get info about future Bingo Events outside?
I want to organise a group of people to go for the experience ;))

I always thought field bingo was where you grid off the field and turn a cow into it. The grid with the ****e wins....
