modifying a vw caddy

    hey guys


    new shape 04-present


    apart from adding set alloys,tinting windows,colour codeing .what other mods would be good, I was thinking chrome abar with spots aswell as leds,Plus chrome side bars with leds .Also need amber strobes put in for escorting loads on roads .is there a company that does theese modifications ie bars leds strobes .

    i want to find this out before buying as want to budget for theese mods .

    Chrome - Good God, just say no! Most chromed up vans look awful. (That said, so did stick on daisies...)

    Wheels - These vans will take any 5x112 wheel, so you can get anything from GTi wheels to Merc monoblocks to go under them, the sky's the limit! Personally I like BBS CH, in 18's if possible...

    Log onto caddy2k.com and check out some of the vans there. The less visual crap on these vans the better.

    Get a pair of amber 12v lights, there's a power socket in the back, just stick one out the rear talgate on the roof when you need them, and stow 'em when you don't. See if Halfords have a work light kit, they'll fit for you as well.

    Weitec do a lowering kit that consists of front coilovers and and axle flip kit for the rear, makes a big difference to the handling as well.

    lowering does look well but would not be prictial for me as i do alot driveing on country roads and farm tracks.
