WDTV Live Networking problem driving me nuts!

I got a WDTV Live the other day, set it up and it worked perfectly first time, picked up the shared folders on my wireless network easy. I was using it fine for a few days then one day I turned it on but it just was not able to see the network any more. I knew it was not the network as my laptop etc saw the folders fine. I tried it the next day and form some reason it was back working perfectly again. However, for the last few days it has been on and off randomly. Sometimes if I go in and clear the network settings or do discovery again it works, but other times it does nothing. I have no idea what it could be...

I would really appreciate if someone could please let me know what the problem might be and how I can fix it.
    Cheers

I don't have a WD Live player but I have had problems accessing NAS drives on occasion. What worked for me was either always specifying a login username and password when connecting to it or using the ip address of the NAS.

I have the same problem. But I am using modded firmware in order to use moviesheets (which are great by the way)... so maybe there is a problem there.
In my case to get new movie sheets to show up I need to power cycle the WDTV, so it is probably loosing the wifi connection when I do that. I have reconnected manually after power up and it works OK .. but like you said sometimes it just looses the connection for no apparent reason.

You'd probably be better off posting the question on the WDTV Live Forum.

It seems to be grand now. I spent ages trying beta and custom firmware. Eventually I thought I had it perfect as it worked for a few days. Then it stopped again for a while, but has worked ok again since then. Fingers crossed it does not break again
