    Playing there tomorrow. Got it through teetimes. No idea what it's like. Anybody here have any thoughts on the course?

    Not too bad a track, some gimmicky holes in my opinion and it isnt very long so wont be too much of a test but that said you still need to be accurate enough in spots. That said they have top class greens and run exceptionally quick and true. Its a little hilly but not too bad, worth a game thats for sure, food and staff are very nice so all round makes for an enjoyable day !!

    Lovely course, right on irish coast but not a linx course. Remember the old saying that everything runs towards water and it applys to this course. On 1st tee off box aim well left as hill runs towards sea so enjoy. Playing woodlands in Prosperous myself tomorrow :D

    Played it a few weeks back and scored well.
    Though to be honest I found it a bit of a maze, I was lucky to be playing the course with someone who knew the course.
    The fairways were lush and some great par 3's on it.
    I reckon you'l have a blast. Just take your time.

    played it today and what a beautiful day it was...shame i forgot to put some sunblock on, i'm as red as a berry!
    lovely course...i found it tough though...i'd be a 22 handicap player...
    found it hard to keep it on the fairways...very hilly in places and i was very tired after climbing some of those hills...an electric trolley would have been nice...
    overall, some nice holes, really beautiful views over the bay, but a little tough for a player of my standard...would recommend it to better players, who have a certain level of fitness!! ;)

    Played there for the first time recently myself, and found it to be a bit of a curate's egg tbh. Holes 1,2,6,7 and 8 are quite good on the 1st nine, but 3,4,5 and 9 are very ordinary. Likewise 10-13 and 17 are excellent, but didn't really like the rest.
    That said, it's well worth a visit, the views over the cliffs all the way to Howth are fabulous, and the friendly staff and good food make for a very pleasant day out.

    I'm a member so totally biased.... glad u enjoyed course. back 9 is a little hilly in places I agree but we were restricted for land when we built back 9. The views are great, course demands accuracy both off tee and into greens... greens are some of the best you will find.... I played most of top courses in leinster last year and Smurfit course were only better ones I found.. it is tight and if your a massive driver you will not enjoy the short length as you will lose your advantage... overall its defo worth a game, especially on a good day! Rest. is top quality too.. promo over :D
