Mac/Entourage Issue

Howdy, I've noticed that when I try to send an photo as an attachment via entourage it also generates a thumbnail image. Its not a big problem but seems to make the attachment size larger, thereby making the send a bit slower. Anyone got any idea how to stop entourage from generating a thumbnail? Cheers.
