    Hi me and my friend are going to oz in September for a year and we where wondering what part to go to? we are going on a 1 year holiday visa and wondering how we can get accommodation also? any help would be much appreciated thanks :)

    Re where to go - that's a pretty broad question! Do you have any ideas yourself? The most popular spot is Sydney, as you might have guessed. Melbourne is really popular too - they say Sydney is more popular with the Irish, Melbourne more so with the British - or at least there are more Irish in Syd and more British in Melbourne.

    Perth also gets good reviews too and is more off the beaten track, and a gateway to exploring the west coast, which is meant to be beautiful..

    do u have a trade/qualification , how old are you , what do you want to get from coming to australia , the more info u give, the better advice people can give you back.
