Income Tax "Clearance" Certificate TC 1/SB 1 Issue.

    Hi there.

I am in the advanced stages of setting up my own import/export outfit.

I have registered for Income Tax and today received a letter from the Revenue Commissioners confirming same.

However, the Back To Work Scheme mentions a Tax Clearance Cert {TC1} and another form, the SB1.

Does anyone know what these are or where I could get them?

    Thanks.

You can apply online for a tax clearance cert here
    https://www.revenue.ie/itp/identification.jsp

As long as your affairs are in order they will send you one out.

Hi there, and thanks for your reply.

I am not an employee and I don't think I have a tax number.

Do you have any idea how I find those out?

    Thanks again for your help.

    IDIU.

    Hi,
Tax number probably refers to your PRSI no. Call your local Revenue office, they're usually very helpful.

    Best of luck

Hi thanks for that Andy, I used the reference number {my RSI} that they sent out with the letter I had when I registered for Income Tax.

I should know inside of 10 days how it all has gone down.
