Calling all paint experts , is it possible to get any paint matched in an aerosol can. I'm looking for a specific white, which I have the colour code, for a Fiat Doblo. Who should I contact?

    Thanks in advance.

The colour code is not necessarily the correct one. Toyota have a colour code called 1C0, Platinum. Even though there's one code, I've over 10 shades of the colour on my system. If you can, bring the vehicle to a local motor factors who mix paint. They'll bring out the sample colour flecks, hold them to the car, and then mix the correct one accordingly.

Used to be easier a few years back. Solid colours were never an option as you can't have hardener in there with the paint. I used to put metallics (Sickens base coats) in aerosol and folks found them fine, they wouldn't have been the shades that had the metallic finish though if you know what I mean.

Dunno what the story with modern, healthy paint is to be honest.

if your in dublin vinny byres should be able to sort you out.

Halfords do a colour match too, I used it before with no problems but recently used it and it was nowhere near the colour, I gave the same code to vinny byrnes and it was spot on
