Will the new O2 €20 deal apply to Twitter/Facebook apps?

    Quick question, as in the title, O2 has a new deal for €20 a month supplying (and I quote):
    • Free O2 texts
    • Free O2 Calls
    • Free Facebook
    • Free Twitter
    I can't afford a contract, but I've inherited an iPhone 3G. Does anyone know if this deal would work if I used the official Twitter (former Tweetie 2) and official Facebook apps, or do apps route to a different server, thus charging me as per usual (abysmal) mobile rates?

    From their web site, you have to use their Social Link App and top up by a certain amount monthly.
