Paddy Power money back for losers

Paddy Power is giving money back on any horse that loses in certain races
today.
So you cant lose really but you would have to stand around in the bookies all day waiting for them to tell you when one of these races is about to start which I suppose is the idea.
I assume they will just tell you 5 mins before.
Pity Im in work all day.
Money to be made!

What, they'd hardly tell you before the race??? Bruce betting used do one a day but they'd tell you just as the race went off...

Suppose that makes more sence. Although the girl in the shop said you wont know until just before the race. There is a couple of seconds until they call no more bets from when the race starts.

If PP are telling people BEFORE the race, I'll eat my hat!
If people knew beforehand they'd just back every horse in the race and get 1 winner and the rest refunds, can't lose?

last Saturday they refunded fallers, usually though its second to the fav or something like that. they ain't stoopid, i tells ya.

I know 2 bookies in Laois that will refund bets on horse that finished second with an sp of 5/2 or greater.. Pick the right races and its great.

Nah lads, pretty sure they wait until No More Bets before they go broadcasting it. Otherwise I'd have a slip done for each horse in each race, Maximum Stakes ready to go

Harringtons and Johnstons in Rathdowney. They do specials on second placed dogs at the morning meetings i think.

According to their screens this morning they refunded on 5 races - 2 horse & 3 dog races.

They had refunded on Redcar 3:00 and Swindon at 3:17(missed these two as I wasn't their until 3:30) while I was there and I was there til' about 4:30

A friend of mine told me he was in PP yeterday and they told punters at the off it would be a losers money back race and he had a couple of second till the no more bets came up on screen.:eek:

Doubt that, they'd get killed.
Sure all you'd have to do is write out a bet on every horse in the race and when you hear it, lash up to the counter.
