Away record not affecting my handicap?

I shot two below the CSS in the Junior Cup over the weekend though my handicap hasn't been adjusted to reflect this. Surely with each score counting and being recorded as a singles round before being pooled for the team score, my handicap would be affected in the normal manner, or are there different rules for competitions…

Cut yourself in the meantime while you wait for the process to take place.
My club was trying to qualify at New Ross and though they didn't enter into a computer on the day, the cards were returned by the GUI during the week with a note giving the CSS and they could be then entered into the system by the handicap monkey as an away score.

Junior Cup qualifying was only yesterday in fairness. I still haven't been cut for Senior Cup qualifying last week.
