    Total n00b question, but what is the most efficient way of finding a particular thread that I opened in a specific forum?

    It happens quite often that I ask a question in a forum I don't frequent often, and when I go back to check on it I can't remember the title I gave it.
    I've got two options basically, as far as I can see - check all threads started by me and scroll down or do an advanced serach in the specific forum for all posts by me and try find the one I started.

    Is there some simple combination of the above (all threads started by me in forum) that I'm overlooking?
