I am claiming social welfare suppliment while waiting for my Jobseekers Allowance claim to be processed, I made my first claim last week and was handed a cheque on Friday. I wasn't told what to do for the next cheque tho, do I have to go back into the office where I made the claim every week?

This may not be gospel but in my experience i was handed a cheque then it was added to my dole from then on. I can get my dole on a tuesday but the extra supplement was not added until the thursday.

I have never been on the dole before so im not sure how it works, do I just go into the post office with my social welfare card?

Normally the first time you had it given to you in your hand when you claimed for it so you would have filled in a yellow form usually from then on it is sent to the post office everyweek on a Thursday for you to collect so no you should not have to do anything else.:)
