Hello lads
Does anyone know anything about this new bill the jolly green giant is trying to get passed regarding and i quote ANY DOG CAPABLE OF HUNTING SHALL HAVE TO WEAR A COLLAR AT ALL TIMES.
Even while out hunting.How many dogs will get hung while in cover. Would this not be called cruelty.Is the NARGC fighting this lunacy?????.Why is there not a mention of this bill in any newspaper.There is a bit about it in this years nargc magazine by Des Croften i think, but it fails to raise the absolute horror that will ensue if it gets past.Its not an ordinary collar but one which carries a photograph, phone number and the dogs name if i remember correctly.Now how does THAT grab you. For the love of our dogs HOW do we stop this insanity.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::(

What does it matter, I cant see anyone coming across a field or up a hill to see if a springer is wearing a collar, Dont get caught in the hype man...thats how they want it!

but sure this doesnt make any sence at all theyre on about microchipping all dogs with the dog breeding bill...............sure all the info will be on the databace that the microchip conformes to.

this townie lead government really is going out of its was to destroy our heritage.

the new deer bill ,i posted a bit about it hear some time ago ,with not much interest .
when it came out my reading of it was i had to get a section 42 to use my two dogs together or i would not be able to stalk with some one that is also using a dog .as one or more dog is a no no .also the wording of putting animal against animal is a problem .farmers look out .

i made a few calls ,the npws were not involved in the new bill and had not seen a draft of it .

i rang the IDS ,they knew nothing of it .i e mailed a copy of it to them also a copy to the npws .

from this there was a meeting with coillte,npws ,narge,wdi,and some one from the government .any way the bill was stopped and its gone back to be reworded.

i even see r.i.s.e are using it now .

so get on the phone ,dont think no one will listen to your concerns .
