    Hi
I have a yellow engine warning light on my dash a while now (had it before a few years ago and was O2 sensor)

And sometimes when I am driving along and put my foot down its like it over revs a bit and wont deliver all the power to me

I got the clutch done 2 year ago so cant understand how that could be going

Anyone think it could be the air flow meter? , cars an A3

I will be bringing it to a garage to get serviced in the next week or so when I get the money

The engine 'overrevving' sounds like clutch slip. Does it idle smoothly in neutral? It could well be the MAF, unplug it and see if the problem gets a bit better.

Mostly likely it's a sensor though.

    Thanks for the reply

When in neutral its ok the majority of the time , once in a blue moon it might over rev a tiny bit and then drop down immediately

Will the mechanic notice if the clutch is slipping in a routine service?
Does an air flow meter/lamda never cause rev problems?

I dont know where/how to take it out, so I better leave it alone:pac:
