Trying to find the name of an old movie

    Hi all,

    Im trying to find the name of an Old Movie based around the Blitz/Bombings or London during World War II.

    There would be loads of films on that subject. You'll have to be more specific.

    Most movies would have had bombings in them.

    This was specifically about the bombings and mostly was about one street of semi detached houses following, as a movie, the lives of that family.

    It involved them, I think, building a bomb shelter out the back which then flooded.

    You said it was an old film. How old? John Boorman's Hope and Glory from 1987 sounds a bit like that.

    We have a winner. I was verging on saying it could have been black and white but I thought it would throw people.
