I heard rumours that they are back in business but only doing online dealings for some reason.

Club travel bought the name and IT program etc..... and are using it to sell their Aer Lingus seats and ryanair seats etc and match it up with accom.

to be honest i cant see how they will sell.. I looked up that and click and go , (gillian bowler new set up..ex Budget founder) and all they do is have ryanair or aer lingus flights matched up to their hotels (most of which were crap anyway in the Budget days)...and then come up with a package price..

but if you check aer lingus or ryanair for flights and then a few online sites like 1800hotels, alpha rooms etc.. you get a way cheaper price... so i dont see the attraction...

I agree - They seem to be so yesterday in their approach. People now are educated and internet savy enough to know whats a good price and whats not.

The way to go about getting a good deal is to find a cheap flight first and book it regardless. Then look on one of the many hotel specialist sites like 24hrhotels.com ,hotels.com, expedia, 1800, etc and you are sure to find deals everywhere. Combined the saving will be huge. In a lot of cases a few hundred pounds.
