Fordson Dexta/Super Dexta

The engine in my tractor needs a rebuild kit.i assumed it was a super dexta as it had super dexta bonnet and nose cone.But my uncle seemed to think it was a dexta engine.I checked the serial number and the engine seems to be a dexta engine.Serial number 09c9233142.
As there are 2 sepereate rebuild kits i dont know which to order.

if anyone knows the codes for the engines or any differences i would appreciate it.

Hi 09c would make it probley a ,62 /63 this would leave it in the s/dexta range , the number on the engine would be a better way to go, if it starts with 16xxxxx it would be 152 rebuild kit if the engine number starts 15xxxxxx it is the earlier dexta kit 144, Regards Granpa

if you look at the dexta and superdexta the dates run the same up to 64 so this in its self wont tell you which engine you have , you will most likely have a s/d 152 or astandered dexta 152 but you would need and engine number, becuse they could have been changed inthe last 40 years.or take the head off an mesure the bore dexta 3.5 144 super or late dexta 3.6,152 Regards Granpa

looking like I have the ame problem identifying the tractor...
I bought it as a super Dexta, had the super nosecone as well.
the numbers are as follows:
beside the gearstick its 957e 7005 t3 b28j is stamped.
on the engine block GKN1372 followed by a "1g" or an "ig" is stamped beside the diesel pump.
marlyman stated that these were the engine numbers, but my 957e prefix number is on thre transmission casing.
Am I correct in stating the following:
that mine is a 1958?
the rims are white - did the white rimss come out in 1962/63?
and the super dexta production riun began in April 1962?
