Hey guys, I know it's a long shot as bassists are rarer than hens teeth but sure ya get nowhere unless ye ask.
We're a 5-piece covers band in the Athlone/Roscommon area, our bassist has left us the other day so we're on the look out. We play a fairly standard pub set list (KoL, Lizzy etc.) We are currently trying to bed in a new guitarist as well so we're not gigging during the month of June, gonna try mix up the set list a bit and get a good demo done.
Our age range is 20-23 but we're not overly fussed what about age as long as there is the same amount of dedication as us. Having your own transport would be preferable but can be worked if you don't.So anyway, if there's anyone out there with an interest drop me a PM and we can set up a jam.

Hows things, I'm in the band with yoursaviour1989. It would be about two hours from Cavan. It wouldn't necessarily put us off and we would be willing to alternate where we practice. We often practice in Dublin, Maynooth and other places. The main thing that we are looking for is someone who is committed to the band. Would you be interested in meeting up for a jam? Where about in cavan are you?
