    What do you do when you don't go out on a Saturday night? Not just tonight, but in general. Do you stay in on your lonesome like me (sob) and watch the Eurovision? Do you get friends over? Are you happy enough sitting in on your own?

    I'm happy enough on my own. I like my space, I can read, play a bit of xbox, take my socks off.

    Life is pretty exciting in the reallyrose house, I can tell you!

    I'm very boring though, so don't take comfort from me. :P

    Gmail open with an attachment that beeps when I get an email, usually Boards.ie notifications :)

    Watch a movie in solitude, t'is a nice break from people..;) Granted, i'm generally not around on a saturday night so its an uncommon oppurtunity.

    Usually I head out with the gf. Now, I dont have a gf so I kinda stay around or head to the pub for one or two or sometimes just a lucozade. Thouroughly enjoyed the Eurovision tonight though and still managed to fit 3 pints in afterwards in the local with the lads. :)

    I don't like how people treat "going out" on a saturday night the norm. Why? Can't i just do my own thing ....

    But to answer your question, hobbies, things that i do any other night. It's not like im sitting here bored, looking for something to do, envying people who go to clubs and feeling sorry for myself.

    Feel the same.

    Actually, I am more inclined to be out during the week.

    Love seeing comedy gigs and music gigs and for some reason they tend to be during the week.

    I work every second weekend, but since I split with my gf I think I have been going out much more on those weekends i'm not working.

    But at the same time wouldn't mind staying in on my own, have people over or visit friends etc.

    But i would NEVER watch Eurovision,

    My OH was off doing the whole "you go girl thing" at Sex and the City last night with "the girls" so I spent the evening with a Kebab meal and the TV.

    I then saw the weather report around midnight which mentioned rain showers today and thought "Damn there wont be anying drying out there tomorrow for those towels"

    Then I :( because I knew right then I was too old and also running the risk of becoming a house husband. I really need to get back working. :(

    I went out Friday night, and yesterday i watched The Dark Knight, The Shining, Edge of Darkness, Avatar, and 6 episodes of Seinfeld. With a few toasted sambos, a couple of Mars bars, 6 bags of Tayto, and about 8 or 9 big mugs of tea. Didnt even look outside the door all day, and never saw 1 second of that Eurovision tripe. It was a great day overall, hope to do it again soon. Bringing my Da out for dinner later, as he's 75 today.

    What? Only 4 of those posts would be barely remotely flirty.

    As for myself. It depends on what way I'm working over the weekend. Last night I finished at quarter past 8 and just came home and crashed on the couch and kept an eye on the youger siblings while the parents were at a party. Probably a eurovision party.
