The fairways are as tight as an otters pocket, keep it straight from the tee and enjoy the scenery. If you do hit the fairways they are Undulating and the elevation changes to the green require a confident club selection. The wind will dictate how you score.

Thanks for that. Looks like an iron from the tee so.

Having played it about five years in a row in the Kerry Boys Championship, I can safely say its a mad golf course. Scoring will be completely dictated by wind. Holes like the 6th and 7th are almost unplayable with an unfavourable wind.

Ive hit 2 iron full-bore into the third and Ive also hit gentle pitching wedges into it. The green complexes are pretty undulating...i.e if the pin is on the back of the eighth its pretty easy to end up a foot from the hole if you hit the correct portion of the green.

Its pretty much irons off tees all the way round. Driver is useless, unless playing into the wind. For example if you hit it to the bottom of the hill on 13 you have a horrible tiny pitch up to an elevated narrow green.

Enjoy, its a sadist's dream...very playable and short with favourable wind/ no wind but unplayable with the opposite.
