We had a holiday booked in the States for next month and we are booked to fly with Delta. Anyway, we now have to cancel the holiday. Has anyone any experiencing in cancelling flights with Delta airlines?

I have looked at my itinerary and it is very vague on the whole area of cancellations. I have obtained a number for reservations in Dublin but it was closed at 6pm and I was redirected to the US but I was on hold for ages.

Any info would be great.

Assuming it's a standard, non-refundable economy ticket, then take a look here:

Is there any way you could try to pay a fee to change the dates of your flight? I did this with Continental when dates no longer suited. Was cheaper than rebooking.
