    Hello.
I have a full Irish driving licence. But where I'm living right now a scooter is a better option for me. Does anyone know if I have to go back home and get a motorbike licence before I can drive a scooter? It's 150cc.

    Thanks!

What Country? You may need an IDP.

Kosovo. There's nothing online that I can find. Any chance I can get one of those IDP in the post? I won't be back in Ireland for a good while.

An Irish driving licence may be used in Kosovo. However, European Green Card vehicle insurance is not valid. Local insurance should be purchased at the border or, if not available, the nearest town.

Thanks. That talks about cars though. Do I just take it it's the same for Scooters? I don't even know if I'm allowed drive a scooter in Ireland, all new for me!

I have hired Scooters in several countries. There has never been a problem other than Thailand where I needed an IDP.

In Ireland you have a test to get that license including a theory test.

By full licence I assume you mean a class "B" car licence?

That doesn't cover you to drive a 150 cc scooter in Ireland ...how should it do so in Kosovo?

Well I didn't know that, hence why I was asking.
