    Just bought this in UK and drove it back. In great condition generally but needs the under-bonnet insulation pad fitted. I bought one but need to know how it's secured to bonet, i.e. what type of glue to use????

    A good spray adhesive, any hardware store, 3M etc.

    where did you buy the under bonnet insulation pad? i need one for my 1977 350sl. I got the bonnet resprayrd but the paint is starting to bubble with the heat of the engine. cheers

    Cunningham-Higgins in Galway are the Merc Dealership. They will order for you and cost is 80.00euro. It takes about 3 days.
