Fairly sure I got snaped by a Gatso in Wales a few weeks ago.

I'm guessing that I won't get penalty points out of this but the UK authorities can and maybe will track me down with the fine ?

perhaps im wrong but i understood the uk and eire came to an agreement a couple of years back to share the points system so to speak.

in 2005 there was something like 40,000 people who escaped points due to having a licence issued outside of their jurisdiction

As far as I know they cannot trace you... it is only a few years ago they closed the looop between the mainland UK and NI.

They can't get your details. Don't worry about it. It is the police in cars you need to watch out for.

    Thanks guys.

I had heard rumours of speeding tickets appearing from the UK maybe a year after speeding and such.
