    Hi,
not sure if anyone can help us, but a few of us are hoping to head to the comortas peile in Belmullet on the June bank holiday weekend and we are desperately searching for accommodation but it seems there is none to be had, tried the hotel and what b+b's google could offer me and all booked out! Does anyone know of anywhere else in a half our radius of Belmullet where we might find somewhere?

If you're badly stuck, try Newport or Westport - assuming you have a car, they're not that far away.

Both Westport and Newport are roughly an hour and a half (an hour and 45 for westport) from Belmullet. It looks deceptive on the map but the roads are crap. (you might be able to do it faster.)

Ballina (just over an hour) and Bangor (30 mins).
Theres a good few options in Ballina, not sure about Bangor.
    Have you tried looking here:

Just noticed on that link, that some accomodation is shown in Achill as being less than 25k away. It is if you have a boat. Achill by road is about and hour - 90 minutes drive. Bit of a glitch with the system Id say.

Try Portacloy - O'Malleys B&B. Fantastic views, about 35 minutes drive.
