J1 in Miami

    Has anyone here done the J1 in Miami? Thinking about going to the U.S. next year with a few friends and we're considering a few places and Miami is high up on the list.

    Really don't know too much about the place so any info is appreciated!

    Hi,

    A bit late replying but i did a J1 in Miami three years ago. Its a great place for partying and atmosphere but work is really hard to get. Our summer is their low season so jobs are scarce.

    Having said that we all got bit of work but it wasn't easy. I ended up doing street promotions with a friend which can be dodgy. There is some nut-jobs in miami so just be careful but compared to san diego and other places its very relaxed for smoking and drinking on the beach/street.
