Barrel too short

Got a tightbore barrel but its about 20mm too short for the outer barrel. Will this cause any performance hit? I presume the BB's will clear the barrel but will the gun loose any performance?

being 20mm too short should not be a problem, however you may find you have an increse of 10 or so FPS.
