Recommend a good external speaker for an mp3 player

Needs to have auxilliary input (3.5 male jack input) as my mp3 player is incompatible with any dock you can get in Ireland.

Under 60 quid, but will go higher if worth it.

The more capable it is of handling bass, the better.

    Thanks.

    Not necessarily, no.
But I don't mind if it is.

I don't really know much about mp3 speakers I'm afraid. I've heard a lot of good about the M-Audio AV40s but they're above your budget.. Not sure they're suitable for hooking up to a portable player either.

If you're looking for something cheap and portable these are pretty decent: -
