Does anyone else keep on getting the same email (below) from Jobs.ie over and over? They have sent it to me three times already and I wouldn't mind but I had an interview with Saongroup (the company that owns Jobs.ie. Irishjobs.ie, etc) back in January so there is obviously nothing wrong with my CV. Plus at €55 to screen your CV in the current employment climate is taking the piss IMO.
    Dear Jobseeker,

Let's be honest here writing a first class CV that truly reflects your skills, abilities and experiences can be a bit of a chore.

And yet your CV is the most important marketing tool you have at your disposal, it is your first chance to impress a future employer.

Done well it can showcase your talent, worth and potential. Done badly a potential employer can dismiss you without ever having met you in person

To take the stress out of CV writing Jobs.ie now provides you with a CV review service. It could not be easier.

All you have to do is email us your CV and we do the rest. Our team of experts will assess it, advise you on the layout and content presentation and have it back to you within three working days. With myhorizon.ie CV review service you can be confident that your CV is the best it can be.

And the price? Just €55.00. Not a bad investment if it brings you closer to the job you have always wanted.

    Best regards,
    The Jobs.ie Team

Almost all full time professional CV writing firms will give free reviews advising on the best course of action (if any) to improve the CV.

Any recruiter who is worth their salt will make changes to a CV prior to sending to a client for free and if you're nice to them they'll send it to you!

Someone who knows what they're doing will take a CV and make changes to it to reformat and correct grammar etc in 20 minutes.
€55 is too high a price to charge for this service.
    €165 per hour:
    €825 per day etc...

Great work if you can get it and if you have a mailing list of God knows how many and you keep eshotting them!

This email was put to me in the past and I emailed them to ask if the finished product will be available on a current or future CV database that they will charge access to and is there an opt out of this function?

    No reply.

    Madness....

Last time I was seriously looking for a new job the first thing the recruitment agent that I used did was to work on my C.V. - and improve it greatly - which was all part of the service and didn't cost me a thing.
