    Hi all,

I have a client who would like to use an online printers to get his book printed. If anyone has used and could recommend one I'd be much obliged. The book is about 45 pages, mostly poetry and some short stories.

    Many thanks.

What sort of printing is he thinking about? A set run of a couple of hundred copies, or print on demand, or e-publishing, or what?

    Hi Eileen,

I'd imagine a print run of a couple of hundred to start with but the price will probably dictate that. No e-publishing.

    Thanks

For a small run, you could look at local printers, see what they can do for you. Check out the various newsletters and guides in your area, and talk to the printers who do them. Combine with a good desktop publishing program and you could do it without losing an arm and a leg.

Don't dismiss e-publishing, it's going to be more and more of an option as more people get e-readers and smart phones which can download books.

    Hi again,

I won't dismiss e-publishing further down the line. He just wants to do a print run to send overseas first. Will definitely explore all options though, thanks.
