Hey everyone,I was wondering if anyone ever photographs any of the headstones in St.Lawrence's,I made the journey there last week but was unable to locate the graves I was looking for,it's a two and a half hour drive from where I am and I was hoping someone here may be able to help out. There's three graves I'm looking for to be photographed, all three were nurses during World War 1 and there names are

Mary E. Daly, QMAAC, died 5/6/19 and buried in (St. Lawrence's) Catholic Cemetery; plot 32851

Agnes McMahon, QMAAC, died 27/10/18 and buried in Limerick (St. Lawrence's) Catholic Cemetery; plot 32180

Mary Wallace, QMAAC, died 14/3/19 and buried in Limerick (St. Lawrence's) Catholic Cemetery; 32684 (should be close to Mary Daly).

    Any help would be great.

You should probably contact Limerick City Council regarding this as they should know the locations.

I say this because you have to pay them for the plots so essentially they should know.

Thanks for the reply everyone, phill that first link is a great source, thanks for that,I have come across the website with the photo's but sadly the ones I'm looking for are not on there. To be honest I was foolish enough to think that they had Commonwealth War Grave Commissioned headstones like the one pictured but as is the case with many these ladies are buried in family plots. With many old headstones they are often difficult to read.I may just contact the council and see what they can give me and head up there again in the coming months.

John Condon was from Waterford and is said to be the youngest casualty of the Great War,the programme Nationwide done a programme on him a few years back but its now believed by some that he was older than the age given at the time of death. There was others to be known that were also well under age.
