Wentworth was almost 7300 last week and the course in Madrid is just shy of 7200. Pebble Beach will be set up to 7060.

If McGinlay is to win this will he make any inroads to the European Ryper Cup standings or will he still have to hope for a wild card?.. He played some lovely stuff yesterday..

    you forgot to add this:rolleyes:

firstly yes obviously he would go way up in the standings, but hold on he's only played 1 good round of golf
secondly he has absolutely not a hope in hell of getting a wild card, even if he managed to get into the top 15 or 20 he still wouldn't get picked
finally fill your boots btw on the USA to win at 13/8,will trade lower imo for a possible trade when the Tiger gets sorted,i know he hasn't played well in the past but he's mortel now

As per usual McDowell gets something going and then wets his pants.
