at the moment an ad for menopause the musical contains the line
'on the sofa my husband sleeps tonight..'

if there was an ad that suggested a woman had been pushed from her bed and forced to sleep badly as a second class citizen in her own home there would be an aggressive reply from heavily funded groups such as womens aid for example

this may sound academic but there is often a denigration of men, boys, brothers, husbands and fathers in our culture that sometimes become visible in advertising.......

the kildare shopping outlet ad featuring codding some male has been pulled,

asking politely for equality between the sexes is always a positive activity

any other ads on air at the moment that would cause fury if the 'brog' was on the other foot?
