That might have something to do with the brand though rather then the type of AEG? Because all STANAG type mags should work in all weapons that accept STANAG mags? So it maybe that the DBoy's mag may be of a slightly different dimension then what it should be? (or vice versa with the GFC 416 mag well?).

Lyk i have 2 G36's of different brands, but even though their the same type of gun, some parts are slightly different sizes and so won't fit into the other gun.

It's the same with some brand of AUG magazines. Some slightly wobble in the mag well, while others are in there very tight and don't move at all. Because their different sizes.

Why not get a standard M4 variant then instead of a 416.

Most M4 handguards need the front sight retaining ring and delta ring from an M4 to fit. A 416 does not have these. Also M4 RIS hand guards use the gas tube to remain steady on the barrel and delta ring, again the 416 does not have these features.

The stock and pistol grips are common alright but if you want to change handguards, the upper receiver will have to change and most likely getting a delta ring and gas tube. With all that you're better off going with an M4 imo as what will will end up doing is building an M4 out of a HK416 externally.

Yea when I put the two (dboys and GFC which i think is really a JG mag) beside each other they were different in height wise.

Anyway its sorted now thanks to Eirsoft :)

Nah i'm a Hk fan, thats why i want the 416. I was just wondering what kinda of customisation options would be available for it.
