Public transport to Kilternan?

We have to drop out to Kilternan Care Centre to adopt a cat (!) and the 44 bus only goes every 3 hours. Is there any other public transport option? Would getting taxis to/from the Sandyford Luas be feasible, for example?

Are you reading the timetable correctly? The times read from left to right.
