whats the douchiest thing to do online?

    Recently my sister had some art she helped work on for a production stolen by some git on devientart who tried to claim he drew it. It was rather douchy thing to do and despite taking a few days she was able to have the copyrighted material pulled down.


    Now tonight I log onto facebook and I see one of my friends link this youtube clip:

    Its the super jackson brothers. A quality flash I remember watching by a sikamako (http://www.hcn.zaq.ne.jp/cabic508/rsf/frame1.html) many moons ago (he did a sequel to it which can be seen here)

    Some punk kid has knicked and claimed the video as his own and has over 3 million views.

    So now I am thinking...

    Stealing other peoples work (copyrighted or fan created) and claiming it as your own is the douchiest thing to do online. I know a few smaller webcomics (like exterminatus now http://exterminatusnow.comicgenesis.com/) has had its art nicked and claimed as belonging to other people who come up with the biggest load of bullsh*t and so on. Thats what pissess me off the most personnally.

    but I want to know what you think.
