    Is this to similar to the homebase system from another thread?

    sort of an irish version of the freesat system?

    its an old saying, 'what you lose you on the swings you gain on the roundabouts and vice versa'.
    Basically for €20 less you have a cheaper system but for €20 extra you gain 20cm extra of dish.

    Dish is too small for Ireland


    That suggests to people that if they purchase it, it will not work. Untrue.


    I have been using a smaller dish than that (37cm) with no problems in Dublin.

    (Though satellite experts on here have warned that small dishes are more susceptible to a reduction of signal in rain etc - so a bigger dish is a safer bet)

    I'd suggest the bigger dish as it is usually better. Incidentally I have been using a Lidl dish for a couple of years and had to superglue it with a wedge (a cut down biro), as any strong wind will knock it off alignment.
