Hi. The brother bought a 2.8 litre Izusu tipper. We all agree at home that its fairly dead. Would a 3.1 Izusu engine fit it? If so there'll be one going in shortly. Anyone ever do this or hear of itt being done?

The NPR sometimes came with a 3.1 non turbo.

AFAIR they are the same engine without the turbo. They used to cook themselves sometimes for some reason.

They also had 3.6s and 4.8s.

Is it in an NPR or an NQR?

I honestly don't know. It probably will but would need some fettling to get it in and going I would imagine.
