They don't come with the carry case or short barrel any more.

I wouldn't bother with it though...if you do want a case get a Firestorm one..you can lock it and use it for transporting by air.
The VFC case can't be locked.

It can actually. There's a single padlock hole on the inside of the carry handle, although the case isnt' exactly the most robust looking so I'd be hesitant to use it for air transport anyway.

Those nice people at SE Airsoft have a selection of cases, you should be able to find one to suit your needs
