Airbag light on, NCT tomorrow...

    Alright lads, I've a 2003 Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTi.

    Today when I was driving, the airbag light flashed on. Wouldn't mind really, but I've my NCT tomorrow at 13:00.

    Any ideas?

    Is the light on again today or was it just a brief flash?

    Advice: take it to the NCT anyway and let them fail it. This way you'll know what other things need fixing too.

    Yeah biko, the light is still on today. I'll bring it to the NCT anyway sure, see what happens.

    A quick google suggests the connector in the steering wheel may have come loose, this seems to happen with Corsas.

    The next step would be to check connections behind the steering wheel and maybe under the front seats. Someone who knows Corsas will probably come along with more/better suggestions.

    Nice one!

    Failed the NCT, but only as there was a worn ball joint. Got the part and all sorted now so will book the retest next week :)
