shotgun jumping

okay, so today i was in a match with some clan members and some randoms, and all MY team was killing me, but the fellow clansmen were trying some sorta trick they called shotgun jumping.
krudler and tallon may have witnessed some of this insanity, but do any of ye know what tis??

as they jump up to throw you off your aim and while there in the air they shoot you

Oh yeahhhh, i thought it involved a shotgun. Yeah ive seen this a bit, its annoying alright. I've seen people b*tch about it, i think they called it the bunny hop. I Don't understand how they aim in the air tbh.

I did that before when all I used was a shotgun at the time. Didn't know that it had a name until now. Helped a bit back then.

you can climb out of the map doing this on quarry by getting right to the top. you need a few care packs too. have tried it in a private match.

think its the way they set up the controller. i never bothered experimenting with other set ups so i wouldnt know.

set up using lightweight , tact insertion, spas12. on quarry you shoot some one as they jump and you can reach areas that you can not normally jump up to on the rock on the out skirts of the map. once they are up there you can shhot them while jumping to also get to these places

thats what they were at, but they wouldnt tell me what twas, so i changed team and kept lobbing grenades at them till i got so much abuse that i left, giggling

I think a shotgun jump is not what has been afore mentioned, A shotgun jump was first described to me by watching a Karachi out of map glitch on YT.

In order to get over some larger obstacles they would have one person with lightweight + marathon on who can scale the obstacle, (rocks etc) then stand on top of it, the rest would shotgun jump onto the rock - the recoil of the blast makes a slightly larger jump possible - why they have to shoot someone in order to do it is beyond me!

That was my take on it anyway, maybe wrong!
