    Hi ,

I own a small computer business in the south east and I have a question if anybody could share their infinite wisdom !

My place is an internet cafe and I also offer PC & Laptop Repair. Along witht his ive got a few small bits and bobs to go with it such as usb sticks / cables etc / mouse pads . I normally get these from a company in dublin but what im asking is something a bit more. My search to get different suppliers have left me red in the face .

Im looking for compnays that sell computers and peripherals etc , and would also be able to give me somethings like stickers (Ex: Acer sticker for my shop window ) . Its just to give off a better impression , as its going quite well , but i believe i could do better.

Any ideas or suggestions would be really great .

    Thanks Guys & Gals :)

It's all about volume really. If you can do volume they will obviously be helpful, if you can't do volume, there's really no point for them. All the big manufacturers have a more or less exclusive distributor in Ireland. The distributors themselves are finding themselves being bypassed by the Internet and multiples. Their margins are very small.

Why not go to a few signwriting places and see if they can give you a proposal on something really dramatic and interesting for the window and shopfront? Will cost you a bit, but will be a much better job. If you really can't afford it then, try to get a manufacturer or distributor to chip in towards it, in return for some sort of presence. They might do that (or they might not).

You could also try Logitech Ireland, I know they have a rep here somewhere but they are great for signs, banners that kinda stuff

  • These are wholesalers in the games industry who also deal with computers peripherals. Try ringing them and setting up an account, they are pretty good for sending out the kind of stuff you are looking for. I have got stuff from all of them in the past, they look after the smaller businesses like ours pretty well. Good luck.

    A1 Distribution: 045438771

    CGS Distribution: 012826532

    Fagans Wholesale: 014199984

    Beaumeax: 014191100

You could try microwarehouse in Park West. These guys are big wholesalers of all sorts of computer "stuff". I'm not sure they'll have the Point of sale material you want, but they'll probably point you in the right direction.

    Hi,
You should speak to Dell about their Certified Partner Program. Not sure if you'd fit the profile but no harm in asking anyway.

    Regards,
    Andy
