recording output from keyrig into audacity

I dont know if its possible but i have a m-audio keyrig that i want to record to audio out of into audacity. but when i push record in audacity it brings up an error message about the sample rate. as far as i can see the sample rates in audacity and keyrig match.
i think it has something to do with the fact that when i use keyrig it launches asio4all and audacity doesnt recognise this in its recording preferences. is there anyway around this?

Sorry, but a few questions as I don't completely know this gear:

mac or pc? (Ill assume PC)

can you select non-Asio drivers somehow in the keyrig?

Sounds like you're trying to run your soundcard drivers in audacity and the asio adapter/driver asio4all with Keyrig which I would imagine would be the problem (ie driver conflict).

Try and get them both running the same thing by changing keyrig if possible?

Don't know if that help, but sure, it might.

yes its a PC im using and drivers is what i think the problem is. i havent tried to use the keyrig with anything other than the asio driver that came with it. im not too sure how to change the driver it uses. when i lauch the program it only gives me the choice of asio.
should i use some other third party driver that both audacity and the keyrig recognise or am i way off the mark?
or should i use an audio program that will use the asio driver and pick up the keyrig audio. so i can use it as raw audio in other programs?

I've found the Keyrig drivers to be a little flakey at the best of times. Try http://www.asio4all.com/ as an alternative. I've a bunch of m-audio controllers/interfaces and the generic drivers always conflict with each other and everything else but the asio4all drivers keep everything sweet.
