Just watched Dominic Doheny on RTE tonight as he made the most pathetic excuses for Biffo. He was introduced as chairman of the Chamber of Commerce but gave a 100% political speech. Not a word of sympathy or understanding for the poor devils who are about to lose their jobs.

If Covidien had added 200 jobs would not Biffo have been standing in front of the cameras, claiming the credit?

Did you honestly thing Biffo would have the courage to stand up in front of the cameras for that? He was nowhere to be seen when the banking crisis unfolded, nothing's changed.

I feel sorry for the people loosing there jobs, but at least the whole factory aint packing up and leaving. Least there will be some people still employed. I know this is no consolation too the 200 odd people loosing their lively hood, but it could have been a whole lot worse.....

Ya never hear about the amount of people in construction or shops etc that lose their jobs one by one. Just the bulk jobs. Very unfortunate for them anyway.
