Facebook error message

Is anyone else getting the error message when trying to log into facebook?

"error has occored while fetching data (null)"

Ive tried every fix i can find and nothing is working.
Can load news feed or anyhting.

Anyone know what the story is with this?

I tried it on my desire's default facebook thing and had the same results as you. Could it be something to do with facebooks new simpler privacy settings taking effect?

I logged in to facebook using the default browser and it worked fine so maybe try that if you're stuck.

Yeah it works on the browser. I'm not overly botherd, its just annoying.

I thought it was FB just being weird 'cause i'm running 2.2 but evidently not. As mentioned above,it could be that it's playing up as FB update a/c's to adjust to the new privacy settings.

Same here today.

Put it down to Facebook's new update. Everytime they "update" it, it gets worse.

I was getting the same thing yeterday but it seems to be working again this morning. First time this has happened with my new HTC Desire, but it sounds like this is something that happens occasionally with this app.

I'm more annoyed by the fact that both a Legend and Desire I have won't sync my contacts with Facebook.
