    Hi all,
I'm considering applying for this course (full time). But i'm currently based in Dublin and was wondering has anyone who's done this course or similar remained based in Dublin and commuted to Galway??
Or can anyone who's done the course advise me on an average timetable?
    Thanks a million!

I'm actually planning on doing this if I am accepted into a masters in Galway in september. The course is only 1 day a week so there isn't much point in me moving to Galway. as far as I can work out there is a city link bus from dublin at 5.45am which will arrive in galway at 8.35 monday - friday so it should be do-able

Are you sure its only 1 day a week?
What about accessing necessary books and course materials, plus building up a circle of friends in the class who can help you when your stuck.
To be honest, it sounds like a ridiculous idea that will end in tears

Youll have a shed load of study on your hands and as old_gill said youll be spending ALOT of time in the library, it would also be handy to be close by if you had to chat to lecturers/tutors/classmates about course stuff. Its your call but I wouldnt advise it.

I agree it doesn't seem convenient at all and it will be a pain but for me it is the only option as I cannot afford to move to Galway among other family matters. May not be convenient but it is manageable
