Holiday in Tuscany

    Hi,
I am looking to book a nice relaxing holiday for 2 in Tuscany in early July. I really am not familiar with the place at all and am just looking online.

I'm hoping to go for maybe a week. Not too bothered about hotel/villa etc. I would love to be somewhere where I could take a day trip to vineyards or something but mainly the holiday would be just lounging about. I guess if there was some nice countryside I would like to rent a car for a drive about as well but not that important.

Has anyone any good experiences they'd like to share? Area, accommodation or activities, websites? I've just been looking at http://www.italytraveller.com/en/r/tuscany but it doesn't give prices. Not looking for anything crazy expensive though!

Any info would be helpful here!
    Thanks!

Well i stayed in florence when were in tuscany but did a day trip to a vineyard & chianti area etc. If you are going for two weeks, you may not want to stay in florence. I imagine staying somewhere near siena, lucca etc would be nice. Have you tried tripadvisor- i am sure you would find villas etc. on that
